| CUTTING BOARD WITH NAILS |
I had seen this in a catalog with my therapist but thought it ridiculous to spend the money on something so easy. I had a wooden cutting board and my stepdad nailed in three nails and gave me a great tool that didn't cost me a penny! As you can see, you stick one side or one end on the nail and that holds it in place while you cut. I did it with cantaloupe here, that I've done cantaloupe, onions, celery, potatoes, lemons and lettuce. You would be amazed what you can use this for. It's things like this that gives us back a little bit of our independence.
