- 2 Chicken breasts
- 1 frozen package of broccoli Florettes
- 1 box potatoes au gratin (prepare by directions on box – do not cook)
- 1 package of bacon
- 2 slices of Velveeta cut in squares
Don't get scared because it looks like a lot of ingredients, it's easier than it looks. First off I boiled two chicken breasts, set them in the bowl with Saran wrap to rest and put it in the fridge, and then I took a nap LOL no really I did!
Preheat oven to 450°
After my well deserved nap, I put bacon on to fry. While my bacon getting pretty and crisp, I put a package of frozen broccoli florettes in the bottom of a 9 x 12 glass baking dish. Next, I take the potatoes au grautin and prepare them by the directions on the box except the cooking. Pour the potato mixture over the broccoli. Pull apart the chicken, almost shredded, and lay across the top of the broccoli and potatoes evenly. Then break each piece of bacon into three pieces and lay them across the top evenly. Finally, top that off with two slices of Velveeta cheese cut into squares and spread out.
And for the moment we've all been waiting for, stick it in the 450° oven for 25 to 30 min.
This was devoured before the baking dish could cool off!! And the ones eating it, other than me, were teenagers!! Bon appétit!
